Where to live?

Hi all. I am moving to Qatar shortly for work - near the HBK Building. I've been paying 8,000AED per month in Dubai for a 1 bed unfurnished apt and am prepared to pay the same but I'm a little unsure about which area's I should be looking around at. And I would prefer to bring my own furniture over if possible. Any advice? Much appreciated.

Looks good, but it's just me so looking for a 2 bed max, something smallish..

Thanks ghazalz.. It's all brand new so think I might bring it over - without the white goods, so that would mean I look for a semi-furnished? Still interested in anyone's recommendation for the area. I'm a SWF currently living in Dubai Marina so something similar perhaps? And before anyone comments I know Doha is different to Dubai :). But any buildings with a great pool, and close to hotels for the bars and restaurants? Look forward to your responses..

You would be able to find a decent apartment within the budget I'm sure...

Bring your furniture here only if it is in excellent condition, otherwise dispose it off.
