is there any way to get my son a residence permit so that he can attend school

I am trying to get my 18 yr old son a residence permit while I am here in doha. He has been here with me since July and is attending NIIT but I was told he can not get a residence permit. Is there some way for me to keep him here that I am unaware of? In all honesty he has no wehre to go and no way to support himself is he was to go back to the US. It would take some time for him to find employment and with no car or home- he will be on the street soon.

Hi.

I believe that if your son is above 18 you can still get a family residence permit for him for as long as he is here to study. Pls get in touch with MOI or from your embassy.

Get him a visa under your sponsorship - ask your company. Isn't there a family visa thing?
