My advise-Don’t go for a credit card… although almost every bank say 60 interest free credit period. ur charged bro! As per ur billing cycle they always charge interest. Then the additional charges like credit shield protection/ interest for the balance amount will ultimately ruin you. Actually you will feel the pinch from the second year.

Yes they can and do. They are protecting themselves from expat crooks who run up a huge bill and do a runner! With HSBC I had to set up a term deposit to cover the amount of credit I was given.

If it is a bank loan....if you failed to pay for the monthly ammortization, the bank will deduct two payments for the succeeding month no matter what your income is. Bank won't care if there's some money left for you.

If it is credit card...no such thing as blocking if you are paying regularly. Minimum monthly due will be automatically deducted from your account. Or if you wish to pay more to avoid bigger interest, you yourself can pay for a bigger amount...or you can even pay it all.

Blocking is only happening if you failed to pay for a long period of time, and your company is giving you the salary in cash and not by depositing the salary in the bank account, or you failed to deposit any amount to your account for 3 or 4 consecutive months,...if ever the company or you will deposit the salary in your account THAT TIME, BANK WILL BLOCK CERTAIN AMOUNT OR EVEN THE WHOLE SALARY to cover all the necessary charges.

ACTUALLY IF U DELAYED TO PAY WITH UR CREDIT CARD THEY WILL DEBIT FROM UR SAVINGS/CURRENT ACCOUNT AUTHOMATICALY NOT BLOCKING AS I KNOW...OFCOURSE IF UR SALARY NOT ENOUGH TO COVER CREDIT CARD DUE THE AVAILABLE BALANCE THE BANK WILL TAKE IT...

there is no such case..kindly elaborate your question...perhaps you didn't pay your credit card regularly, the bank has the right to debit the accumulated monthly dues from your account.
