Tested and Positive with HIV..govt. will arrest him?

Does Qatar gives HIV medication to non national but has got his Residence permit, will he still be deported

He is from egypt and yes! he is scared to visit the doc..Just incase he is positive. He probably F*ck some womens over in Qatar(i assumed) that's where he get HIV.

How can he think he/she may have HIV. If he has he/she needs medical attention anyway and should go and check it out.

Any sexual/or even not from sexual contracted transmitted diseases of this kind will be reported to the police immeiately from any hospital and he/she will be immediately deported.

If he/she thinks he/she has HIV there are many medicines which can help him/her but he needs clarity and his surrounding needs clarity because he can also infect others.

Please make sure that this person gets help.

also if he is hiv+ there is special treatment he would need in order to live a reasonably healthy life, and that is not available in Qatar unless you are Qatari, and not many people would have the balls to try and smuggle that in.

If he goes without treatment he could have major health problems, which will show in his performance at the work place, and eventual result will be termination, in which case he would have to leave anyway. Option are pretty much, stay and get screwed, or go and get sorted the best he can.

He doesn't have to take another medical test as long as his contract and RP will be renewed BEFORE EXP DATE.

another thing is, that even when he will go to check if he is HIV positive on his own, i think the clinic will have to report it anyway.

and yes, as long as he is not local they will ask his to leave the country- this might be post some kind of questioning how he got it in the first place, for safety reasons.

If he was diagnosed positive in any hospital in Qatar, even private hospitals or clinics, those clinics will report him to Hamad hospital and the police will be looking for him. The arrest will be so that he can be deported. If he dodges the police then when he goes to renew his RP he will be denied and deported.

i dont think so that medical examination is required during the renwal of contract....secondly if hes is have such doubt dont consult any doc. untill and unless you have good term with him...otherwise in such cases docs usually inform the ministry or to the employer as this question afterwards will raise to there practise....better ask him to take vacation...visit his family and have the medical examination in his country..

first of all they will not issue the work or resident permit if ur frnd is HIV +ve......and if ur frnd is effected after the permit is issued...ministry will first find hw he is effected if thru any medication thn no problem and they will kick him back to his country within a very short notice period.....but if hes effected thru any illegal sexual relation and its but obvious thy will arrest...

He is currently working in Qatar and his contract will be expire this coming Oct. If he will renew his contract does he need to undergo with HIV test?

He just feel liked he got this kind of desease but he is not sure yet. He plan to visit the doc. but he is afraid that he might be positive...

How did he find out he is HIV +?

The person will b KICKED OUT of the COUNTRY once he/she is found HIV +ve... Thatz all...

He'll certainly not have his RP renewed.

HIV +ve is not a crime. Its a desease. The patient is never be arrested. But he will be send back to home if he screened HIV+ve during a medical test for visa as he is not fit to work. If he still managed to get visa during his window period and caught later also will be send back to avoid spreadding of the desease.
