Teaching....

Hi,

I reside in London and have been offered a teaching position at Al Maha. I was wondering if there's anyone else who's been offered a post there.

Is there anyone who works there? What's it like? I'm finding their process of employing teachers somewhat unprofessional. Has anyone else experienced this?

I've been offered 9,000 Qatari Riyals. Is this sufficient? They provide accomodation, utillity bills and return flights once a year.

Hi, I currently reside in Toronto Canada. The Al Maha institute has asked me to come in for an interview in Hamilton close to Toronto here. I was wondering what kind of questions they will ask me at the interview???/ I would greatly appreciate it if you could please reply back and let me know how your interview went. I look forward to hearing from you,

Thank you

Sincerely,

Khansa

Actually, the salary is not too good for Doha compared to the better schools, but it is OK. Make sure they pay your accommodation and don't give an allowance because prices keep going up.

Well the process of hiring in Doha is definitely different from that of the US and UK. I am going through the same situation right now. I guess you just have to exercise patience. Your offer is good. That's a good teacher's salary since they are providing housing.

Send me a pm (personal message) if you have anymore questions.

hello there..

well i dont know about the salaries in that school but if you r offered this much and the accomdation is provided its not bad ...

but i guess in UK you can make more ... i dont know how much experience you have and all these things .. but if you r a UK citizen and have their nationality you should get more than that i guess...

Good luck ...
