Qatar is a quiet and a safe place. In general people living here are nice and friendly. It can get boring some times so keep your self active by joining a gym and making lots of friends. Also travel every chance you get. Don't worry you will be fine and you will love it.

Welcome:)

well, U shud Xpect the following:

- 76% of male population

- very Xpensive living cost, i.e. housing

- very few "official" taxis

- very "tight" traffic jams, esp. in rush hours

- high standard of security

- comfortable living

- "no" interference fm neighbours

- great shopping malls

- everything U need - at a "stone's throw"

- nice "literate" locals who are just above 31% of the total population of 1.6 mil

GodFather.

Do not expect and compare the same treatment back home and here. It is nice over here but one should never compare.

Welcome anyway
