I have one of my kids at MES and other one at Birla Public. Believe me, qualitatively, Birla is a much better school.

Dear Friend,

I am a student of Ideal Indian School and I am aware of the in and outs of the school. It is very surprising to note that you havent taken MES into the consideration, MES is one of the oldest schools in Qatar, with the best infrastructure and Co- corricular Facilities , you should have once visited the school you'l like it very much. The faculty at MES is incredible , they have one of the most experienced faculty in qatar, and their students are participating in various competitions and Maths and Science Olympiads both in Qatar and India. One of there students has recently joined IIIT at hyd in India. The 10th and 12th standard results which is the key for continuing education in india is outstanding at MES. Now coming to your options Birla, the group of schools have carried the excellent reputation they have back in india. it is well established but a new school. MES is at the top right now.Your second Option Ideal Indian School that is my school is one of the second largest schools in doha as per the strength and "was" one of the best schools in doha till early 2000, The school is now in a pathetic condition with majority of the Experienced Faculty either been terminated or resigned, due to rift between senior teachers and the leader of the school, who is a metal head from military. About 25 new faculty has been brought whose total experience does not equal even one the experienced teachers Ideal had in the past and 4 or 5 teachers they are still holding on to. The Education standard has become bad to worse with many periods going as free periods due to lack of Teachers. This has developed a situation where any teacher is teaching any subject which is alloted to them irrespective of their previous experience. I donot have any thing personal with any of these schools, but it is necessary that I donot keep you in dark keeping in view a bright future of your child.

All the best

regards

MES school and IDEAL school are the oldest,, and they have old type of Managemnet,, and catering middle class families.

The new schools ( Birla, DPS, DMIS ) have "posh" culture and charging more fees.. ANd some parents feel themselves that they become "elite" , when they give higher fees. The second categoryies are parents who work for Oil-Gas companies, becasue educational fees given by the companies. The moment the company stops educational allowarnce, the parents may run after the middle class shcool

what is important is the Results in the FInal year exams or public exams by CBSE.... Surrpisingly the OLD - MIDDLE CLASS school are OUTSTANDING.
