It depends on the size of Box and weight of the box.

Shipping company will charger on the higher one either gross weight or volume weight.

If it's a small box then you can go through a courier service like Sky Com they do door to door service with very less charges in comparison to shipping company.

Just provide them the details and cargo will reach to you without any hassle.

For shipping: check your supplier if they can ship the cargo upto your home else otherwise contact any shipping company here in Doha and provide the details, they will collect the cargo n will deliver to you.

Charges will be as follows:

Collection Charges/Fuel Surcharges/Airport Handling Charges/ Freight Charges

Then in Doha: Custom Duty 1.2% of the invoice value

Airport Handling etc and transport

for shipping you will be needing following documents in original

a) Original Commercial invoice attested by Local chamber of commerce at origin

b) Original Certificate of origin attested by LC of Commerce at origin

c) Packaging list (no need of attestation)

You will have pay extra cost for these documents to your supplier or shipper, if supplier provides them Free of Cost then you r lucky.

Without these docs customs authority will charge QAR 500.00 as a penalty if the invoice value is below QAR 50K others 1% of the invoice value.

That's all.

I suggest go through courier service to avoide all these headach. if you require some shipping companies PM me I will provide the reference.
