Ramzan office time

Salaam walekum!
can i know the office timing in ramzan.now my office timing is 8 to 5.30 or 6pm. According to qatar labour law what wil b a office timing 4 me.

To everyone who says that maximum is 6 hours - that is the maximum standard hours. Companies are aallowed to work you for 4 more hours at overtimes rates, so that's 10 hours total.

It varies from company to company but max. is 06 hrs. for our company its 0630 to 1130.

rozsmart, if u will work from 8 to 4 then make sure they will pay u overtime, coz it is legal only to work 6 hours per day and the rest has to be paid as overtime. otherwise it is simply illegal.

For me its 9AM to 2PM...Alhumdulillah. It seems that you have 10 working hours. I think your timing should be split into 2 shifts so that in between you can have some rest & break your fast. How about 8AM to 2 PM and then 8PM to 12..........depends upon your company.

As per articles 73 and 74 of the Qatar labour law; http://www.qatarembassy.net/Qatar_Labour_Law.asp standard working hours for Ramadan is 6 hours, plus up to an additional 4 hours overtime (paid at overtime rate).

The timings for the Government Sector will be 8 to 1. Until unless you have a wacoo boss who dont let you go home early.

According to Qatar Labour Law, the working hours during Ramadan should be 6 hours a day and its the Companies' decision to fix office timing for their own. Govt Organizations and major companies normally works 8-2 or something like that...

It is Morning 8.30 a.m to 2 p.m . Totally working hours is 6 hours .
