QR 18000 per month
By Aniket Vaidya •
I am married man 28yrs of age.
I have got an offer of 18000 QR all inclusive.
If I stay in Doha, will I be able to save atleast QR 6000/month. If I opt for a 1bhk apartment and used car (in the range of 18000-25000 QR)
Are there any other major expenses in Qatar?
I wish to stay in Qatar for 3 years, is it worth it with this salary?
Hi Aniket Vaidya,
Once you land in Qatar, you wont leave this this you will go on your vacation every year and then come back. Its not so hard to live in qatar.If you are getting 18000 QR then you can have a good life style and a very good saving. COme here and experience it yourself. WELCOME TO QATAR.
I can save Rs 6 lakhs/anum in India (e.q to QR 6000). But still it seems to be a good deal considering that I will get some Gulf expreience.
If cost of living is so high out there, then its better to come back to India after couple of years and settle down in some good company in India.
Well suffiecent u can enjoy lot in Qatar

you could find a flat ranging from QAR8K and up...
all varies from optional increments you're desiring...
if your opting for QAR6K savings monthly...
perhaps sufficient enough you could save after some of your personal extravagance...
~~~winner never quits~~~
First of all, congrats for that offer and welcome aboard mate...
To answer your question, it works like this if I have to put a rough estimate:
* 1 BHK Accomodation: QR 6,000/-
* Water + Electricity: QR 500/-
* Grocerries: QR 1,000/-
* Communication Costs (Telephones, Mobiles, Calls to HOME): QR 1,000/-
* Car: QR 1,500/-
* Fuel: QR 200/-
* Entertainment: QR 1,300/-( This was just to give you a round figure in the end...LOL!!!)
* Misc: QR 500/-
Well my friend, sum it up you would get to QR 12,000/- which is pretty much a decent rather a touch lavish lifestyle to say the least...
Again, the figures are person specific and its upto your lifestyle how you end up spending, if not too much on the higher or the fancy side then you should be able to cut thru QR 6,000/- to start...
And regd for 3 yrs, is it worth the move: Well that is upto you to decide, keeping in view, your present situation, your future options, your figures and ofcourse facts, your economic and personal conditions...
All I could do is to give you a rough breakdown...
Hope it helps...
