I wonder what do the locals do here for entertainment, i mean Qataris. In India once we are back from work in the evening we spend time with family watching TV soaps, Movies or simply go shopping or if noone at home call a friend over a drink. Or play outdoor games such as cricket, football or tennis etc. How do the Qataris entertainment themselves. Just curious??

they get themselves engaged with a lot of things , very sociable people they are , they meet their friends and families in their "majles" almost daily , the men i mean , some go for shopping, visiting each other , go out the town to spend time in their "esteraha" or "albar" in the desert over weekends and holidays

what do u want to know more?

I see most of the QLers have taken my question in a wrong way. I apologise if i hurt anyones feelings. All i wanted to know is if the Qataris spend time watching movies, tv just like we do. Nowhere i mentioned Qataris as third world country. I regret i cannot delete this question as there is no option available for that. Please ignore this question and continue the good environment. regards

You sound as if Qataris live a 3rd world life here. They live much better than you could imagine controlled by culture.

Alam / Rati

I am just asking a simple question for which i am sure most of the QLers will be eager to read the answer for. If you know any answer then let everyone know or else why dont you save your time and just avoid writing rude and negative replies. Alam is it necessary one must have a problem to ask a question here. Cant we ask a question to gain some knowledge about the local culture and lifestyle.
