Can any one tell me the cost of getting Qatar driving license.
I am having Sri Lankan driving license so do i want to go to driving class in order to get qatar driving license.. If so how much would be the whole cost?
If you have a Gulf DL or a DL from the west then you can convert it to a Qatari but if you have a SL international DL then you can have a temp DL but not a permanent after having to pass a small test and if you only have a normal SL DL then u will have to take the option of strait test, half course or full course depending on your confidence of passing the test.
the cost is as follows and keeps on changing
For Converting = 300 (not sure)
For Temp DL = 165
Half Course = 900
Full Course = 2100
Please note that you will have to wait almost 2 to 3 months until your lessons start if you wish to enroll for the full or half test or about a month if you wish to go for the straight test and the rest in less than a week.
If you need a closer date for the commencement of your course then you might have to pay the guy who assigns the date for you which I do not recommend but pretty helpless in certain situation where you've got to wait for almost three months which is crazy !!!
Be aware ... these guys will do anything for money including the driving shouting at you for making the simplest mistake as a gesture for making a buck out of you.
