Qatar - Cost of Living for a bachelor

Hi everybody

Today is my first day in this website. I am Hari from India.

Very soon am going to move to Doha for a bank job. I will be there as a bachelor only. My salary is somewhere around 15000 QRs.

Please let me know whether if i stay in a shared apartment and cook my own food (vegeterian) - how much will i be able to save.

The money which you are going to spend is up to you, you can go for a bed-space for 750QR for an example. Just go to the cost of living details right down here to get an idea.

Hi Hari,

Your room rent for sharing will be QR. 1500 to 2000, food will be around max. 750-1000 if you do not too much in restaurants, others max. 500 plus transportation. You will have to furnish your room if you are going in for a furnished accomodation. Accommodation cost depends upon the area you are choosing to live. In total max. u shall spend around QR. 4000 if you do not have any other reason to spend for a normal living.
