n i didnt come here coz qatar governemnt "insisted" i do mr. cherukkan i had my reasons n i am actually happy here but i just was looking for some advice that u obviously forget to give while being busy telling me to leave the country
Mr. mo3taz i hope u understand that being a muslim we have to pray before we open our fast.... this part of the fast is very precious... thats y we are allowed to go home early so that we can rest pray and prepare for the Iftaar. I look at a positive side that we get more time to to mosques, to pray. You can look for alternatives, instead of going to any restraunt, prepare your food from home and go out at corniche or any park or beach side and let your family enjoy it. ORelse make plans for evening time.
Sorry man, nothing personal. Can I ask you a question Mr. Moataz. If you are unable to follow the rules of this country why did you leave Egypt where shops are open at the normal timings irrespective of Ramadan? Did the Govt. of Qatar insisted you to come? Here you are in Qatar and you should have asked someone about the rules in Qatar before coming in. It is the rule of the country and you or me cannot change it. If we dont like we are free to go to anywhere possible.
In my case, yes I am happy with the rules of this country.
sorry guys but these rules r not in all GCC countries n u should know thatn if u all enjoy saying this "like it or leave" phrase then i would assume u must b real happy that u r staying here,so u can simply share ur experience of how u manage or where u goif u r not in happy then in ur own words"just leave"
My friend, there is no question of Muslim or Non-Muslim here. The l aw of this country has stipulated that the working hours during Ramadan is 6 hours and shops are not allowed to open on some specific timings. As an Egyptian Muslim you should be aware of the rules of a GCC country and you and me must follow the rules here. If it is difficult then we are free to quit.
i am muslim guiltclosing stores has nothing to do with islam for there is nothing in islam against working during fasting, on the contrary, u r encouraged to work during fasting n not to sleep all daythis is regulations n laws n not islam
Sorry man, you should live with it. You should have thought of Ramadan in an Islamic country before bringing your family. Now the only place to go at that time is the corniche where the temperature will be between 45-50 celsius.
sorry to say...nowhere else to go during 2-6pm...i believe all establishments are close due to respect in Muslim's tradition. Just make plan for eid ahead :)
