Permission to leave
Please I would like to know about the permission to leave Qatar that I have seen in the Gov Portal.
What does it means as European Citizen working in Qatar, that if I would like to leave the country for a travel I have to ask a special permission and in case of refusal I cannot leave the country?

This is how the Govt. restricting international tourism. Also restricting foreign nationals to come and work here. I am very new to Qatar. Traffic fines, exit permits, and very long procedure in visa are not really attractive things in Qatar.
Dubai has got more opportunities and better salaries then here. Inflation here is like a nightmare.

Sadly yes, exit permit has to be issue to you by your sponcer. Even for a quick visit out the country. No permit, no exit.
