Hi Guys,

Im new in this forum. Reading topic posted and replies gives me more ideas what to consider and to be aware before coming to Qatar. I'm a filipino, accepted a job offer in Qatar and hopefully be there this month (November) I have some concerns and need to be enlighten. I would appreaciate very much your soon response/s.

1) Best to be recommend accomodation. (Is it Apartment or villa). My budget is Qtr1500-2000(inclusive of utilities). Would I find a flat enough to my budget?

2) The address of company i am joining is in Suhaim Bin Hamad St.Bin Mahmoud, Al-Sadd Doha, Qatar. Would like to hear any recomendation/referal to place to stay thats near the company I am joining. And I would also like to know if that address is accessible to public trasport.

Thanks in advance.

Regarding the apartment please check this classified. It is a room to share with other 4 for 650 every month with electricity and water and internet connection. Location is in Merqab Street which means 5 minutes away from your location at Al-Sadd ... The place where you work or would live is really nice and in the heart of the city. Welcome to doha and I hope that you will enjoy your stay here. Welcome to QL and don't worry, we would be here to help you. There is a Filipino group here that has a lot of members Pinoy/Pinay so please have a look and be part of the community there :)
