Guys, I am 100% sure he is making a lot less in Kuwait, and surely will not even come close to making this in India. Ya'll gotta take this with some perspective, and he may already be bunking with 10 guys in Kuwait.

Bleu is right, this guy has very little experience and the salary bracket is pretty on for a private company.

You have got to be kidding. Stay in Kuwait. You Indian IT guys have got to stop selling your services so cheap. What is the problem? Do you actually know nothing and just have a paper from a useless university? In that case 3000 RIyals is fine.

DO you have low self esteem? In that case 3000 Riyals is fine.

But if you have brains, good training and are confident ask for twice or triple what they offer and settle! Do not work for free as you will simply waste your valuable life! The ads here were full of household furniture being sold by Indians going home because they were not making money. Food is expensive and inflation is over 10%.

1500 a month you'll be in a bunk bed sharing a bathroomn with 10 men. Shouldn't you have your own room with your own computer and TV so you can work and relax in peace?

Well you are young so you can put up with poor living conditions, but at least make some money to make it worthwhile. 3000 Riyals is not worth it in my opinion. How are you going to get married being poor?

... and they will likely charge you expenses that are not listed in the contract.

6700 total salary for an Indian IT guy with 1.5 years experience is normal.

You need to live in a shared accommodation to be able to save money.
