hey, I am not a resident of Qatar. I got a job offer in Qatar from a reputed company in Doha. My monthly salary is 2850 riyals + food and accomodation (worth 500 riyals). Please comment. Should i take this offer or not. And also will there be any problem with Visa.

if your basic is 2850 and you are being given free food and accomodation then cool but if you are beign given 500 for food and accomodation then bad idea

Doha is one of the most expensive places to live in the world. If you want to maintain a certain quality of life which includes having a life at all then my friend its better to stay with family and friends back home instead of trying to make ends meet in 2850 a month. Good luck.

Try to get some ideas from your own National, probably from your place, thus you can get a right answer at least matching.

Hence you are a 18-25 old youth, without any experience no one will offer you 15ks.

Good Luck

it depends on the level u r currently in and expecting to improve ... this salary is much more or less that the salaries in Qatar ...

but forget about having family and schools here in Qatar .. this is hardly enough to save some or transfer to family back there ...

Are you sure its a "reputed" company giving u Qrs.2850/- ?? its peanuts to live in Qatar my friend.. anyways, it depends on ur education & experience too. this will be only enough if you are a bachelor or else don't don't bother yourself if you are educated & experienced.

Visa depends on the company.

user search option on the top right and look for salary related forums to get better picture. "Food + Stay worth Qr.500" is out of question. As I understand one needs at least Qr.100 per day for Food & Accommodation alone, which means if the company is giving you Qr.500 as cash, you will end up with lots of difficulty.

But, as mentioned above, it all depends on you caliber and post

All the very best.

all depends on your circumstances. If the food and accomodation is paid for then your pay is all for your disposal..

2850 or w.e is good for some one who has a place to stay and has free food but lets say ur hear and u wana buy a car maybe around 80k riyals then it would be hard for you.. maybe a job over 5k atleast. so that u can live hear without worrying to much about the money :P
