hello everyone..
the issue is the same old "salary delay". we are waiting for our salary for the month of january..thats a delay of 5 months. my colleagues called the police several times in the past but the police never solved it.just to console the employees,the police wud order to pay the salary immediately but the management won't.this happened 3 or 4 times in the past..what shall we do to get our salary since january? where should we file the complaint? is there a chance of getting n.o.c for this reason of salary delay?? looking forward to your replies and suggestions..
(as received.the company is a electro-mechanical construction firm with several reputed projects in hand..)
File the complaint to the labour department immediately. also check the provision: if the salaries are not paid for 3 consecutive months, then the employee is free to look for another job (needs to be verified). The labour department can force your company to pay by blocking their EXIT permits.
Contact the Ministry of Labour & present your case,also file a complaint with the NHRC downtown...good luck...
filing a complaint in the labour court will inshallah definetly help
we had a similar problem, and we did the same
and we gott our salary in a matter of few days
we were even threatened to with draw our complaint from the court by the employer!!!
companies fret the LABOUR COURT , no doubt!
the thing is if a complain is obtained in the labour court, against any company - the court BLACKLISTS THE COMPANY
and as if im not wrong then - three complaints and KHALAAS
the company is in serious trouble

IMHO, these companies that rip off employees should be named, shamed and banned from ever getting visas again.

Just go to the labour court.
