Moving to Qatar. Procedure for registration of imported car
I am moving from Bahrain to Qatar.
I am planning to transport my Honda CRV of 2007 make also to Qatar.
The cargo agent has told me that he will transport it by trailer by road.
Please let me know the procedure for registering the car in Doha/Qatar. What are the documents required for the registration?
My car in more than 2 years old from the time import duty has been paid by the Honda agent here. Do I have to pay any import duty in Qatar?

Make sure you get the Export papers first from Bahrain, once the car gets here to Doha, take it to Al Muroor/ Madinat Khalifa and you'll find there one of the Sudani guys sitting at the Gate who will do all necessary papers and registration for you for couple hundred Riyals. It the best way!

You will need to arrange your car's doc with your cargo company and once it reach to doha and finishing customs
you must check it with checking service company in industrial area before you registering it.
