Moving to Qatar

Greetings All,
I know this question has been raised b4.
But I still need to be assured b4 I take the plunge!

I have a job offer a package which would total QR 22000 P.M. plus free accommodation, free medical & dental care as well as some other insentives (inerest free car loan and furniture allowance...etc).

I was lead to believe Qatar enjoys a high standard of living, the question is would the above package considered to be enough to lead a decent lifestyle, obviously, with savings in mind?

Appreciate your help.
Cheers.

The only other thing you need to consider is if you have children and whether or not their school fees are paid for by your company. If not then look into it as fess can be quite high in relation to your salary. It can also be difficult to get children into the school of your choice.

Sounds like you landed on your feet there! As an expat, you are here for one reason only. Tax free money!

Qatar as a whole is fine. Mostly nice people but there are a fair few locals who can barely fit into their landcruisers because their ego's are so big!

Enjoy your time in Doha and bank that money.
