Hi all, I always used to move around with my boy-friend in weekends in various shopping malls or cinema halls or just moving aimlessly with car. Yesterday one of my friends told me that it is not allowed in Qatar and if police caught me I will be in trouble. Is it true?
if yu are going along with your boyfriend, walking talking watching movies without touching each other ofcourse then its fine.....no one shall tell you anythign just dont be physical to the xtent of even touching each other then you shall be fine.
well, its not allowed but thousend of people do the same here, its just like if its your bad luck you will be in trouble, even locals go around with GF's but no one caught them, its only others nat.
so just dont hold hands in malls or park, and dont kiss or more in the car. dont stay in Dark Area if you are in the car.
Personally i don't think police will not catch couples for just driving around the city in a car. They probably do check up on you if you are parked on quite areas, etc.
Yes it is true if you show them kissing, hugging each other...offcourse police may catch you and ask you if you guys have a Marriage License... Yes you can also move anywhere you like to move with your BF but don't show to them like you were husband and wife...since this is still a Muslim Country and restriction is always imposed...be careful...good luck

The police here are pretty reasonable from my experience. Just don't express your affection in public openly.
