Masjids are closed for prayers.

I want to share my view on last 3 days of holy ramadan. Ramadan is a gift for human being to earn tons of rewards. Quran and Hadith of prophet Muhammad (PBUH) encourage to offer more prayers and other good things for Allah in this month. I can notice here in Qatar, masjids are closed too earlier. Many people here are for jobs. They are bind to company rules and regulations. Most of them have to do night shift and come late night after 11 PM. What happen here is, they do not get chance to sit in masjid and offer prayers to Allah. This is very in justice. In this holy Ramadan Masjid should be open till Sahr so it will help muslims to perform their prayers.

Yes Eco-savvy & UkEngQatar you both are right. When? if every body here working in Qatar has good home and all to offer prayers any time at their place. As I pointed out, many are here workers living with company accommodation and camps. Professional they will have palace,, what about labours? Some they do not find there place as a proper spot for the prayers. Some time other religion people are also together in rooms. We can not disturb them also. In Qatar there are masjids per 100 Meters. What is the benifit of all these if a single moomin is chase out from his prayer or zikr?

GodFather.

Mosques should only be open for Congregation prayers, private prayers should be done at home.

Yes they should be kept closed, you can do ibaadah at home. Pray nawafil and sunnah at home. If you let it open they will become places of community gatherings like Malaysia, India and Europe and America.

After Taraweeh there is no other prayers, I attended Tahajud Salah at 2am and this midnight prayer is not in all masjids. You have to find out which other masjid is offering Tahajjud.
