I got an offer as a security engineer to work in Qatar from a recruitment firm at Singapore. I'll be hired between 5000 - 6000QAR where acomodation n transportation will be provided. Ho much i can save monthly after deducting with meal+phone+other expences?1 more think, I afraid that i might be cheated with the Singapore company where their client(company from qatar which will hiring me) hires me as a labour worker instead of post that posted above. is such thing happen in qatar?please be advised..

QR 6000 = SG 2600 per month. your current salary is around SG 1500 right. You have to pay Rent in singapore. ( May be contribute the family's monthly rental to HDB). Pay for your own transportation or MRT + Bus.

I belive you don't cook at home and eat at Hawker Centres & lot of temptations in the Entertainment side.

Basically your salary is gone by the 3rd week of the month in Singapore.

Here everything will be provided to you and you can save around SG 2000 a month.

There is no such thing as forcing you to work as labour. They get you on labour visa because they don't have Engineer visa available. later you can change the visa.

I was in Singapore for 15 years before coming here 4 years ago.

Don't be so "KIASU" Lah :)

5000 to 6000 is just right for single but not for family, its difficult to survive with this salary bracket.
