Dear All,

I am expected to receive an offer from a leading group of Qatar which has it's head office in Doha, however the position would be based into their distribution center/warehouse in the industrial area near Doha. I am expected to received the salary in the range of 6000 QR to 7000 QR.

Please guide me about the living cost in Qatar, accomodation near the that place or in the city, means of transportion etc. Relocation is one of the bigges concern which i have to address while moving from Pakistan.

Thanks in advance!

What type of position are they offering and which company is it? The cost of rent is very high in Doha, I would suggest you try and get your accomidations as part of your contract.

it all depends what company you will join, your position, your lifestyle, or if you'll bring your family with you. biggest cost here goes to accommodation, then education.if u are alone and have free accommodation and simple lifestyle, you may survive at QR7k and save more than 50% of it.but again, it all depends on many things.have time to read threads here at guide to qatar.

If company doesn't provides accommodation it will not be a sufficient salary to live in qatar. Now a day flats are very expensive out here. So if u planning to come with out ur family this salary would be reasonable. U can get bed space from QR 750 - 1500, and as transport concern again would be a problem its hard to get taxis and also very expensive and for bus they charge QR 3.
