Living expenses in Qatar

Hi,

I am considering an offer to work in Qatar. However i am unable to come to a decision as i am unable to narrow down of what my living expenses would be. Please help by answering the following questions.

1. Rental cost for a furnished studio & a furnished 1 Bedroom apartment.

2. Good locations to live in, my work place would be Bank Street. (Cheap accommodation and easy access to everything would be ideal)

3. Rental cost for a car.

4. Living expenses for a single male.

5. Cost of medical cover.

6. Cost of a drivers permit.

Would be very obliged if i can get a good idea of the above.

Are u sure that 1000 - 18000 QR pm would be enough for all my basic expenses. Would this include all my utility bills and basic food requirements??

3000 - 4000 for a permit to drive in Qatar !!! So far the figures i have seen have been below 1000 could you please reconfirm on this?

Hi Shapil, i agree there is a lot of information on this site an in all honesty thats been a major reason to my confusion.

1. QR- 3000 to 5500 (per month)

2. u can able to get

3. rent - QR-2000 to 3000 (per month)

4. it's up to U but QR- 1000 to 1800

5. Medical card QR-100 (HMC)

6. QR-3000 to 4000
