Hi there.

I need your kind advice .I had previously worked at Qatar on 2004 for 3 years, but due to emergency matters there at my country I left Qatar on Oct. 2007 without cancelling of my resident visa and didn't return back . My resident visa was expired on Oct. 2008. I haven't got any bank loans.

Now at Feb .2014 I received a job offer from a company..Is there any problem right now to return back to Qatar by either of work visa or Business visa OR I should get NOC from my previous employer . I heard that Qatar labor laws recently changed .

So I need your advice and helping.

Thanks in advance !

The automatic BAN is for 2 yrs. But if your previous employer filed a complaint against you and asked to blacklist your name you could still be in that black list and therefore entry to Qatar will be denied at airport passport control.

better ask the potential employer to check if there is any issue before actually coming back here!!
