Dear Friends,

I am presently working in Kuwait and have received an offer from Qatar. The joining date is 15th Nov'09. Please advise me what all documents I need to have for the residence. Also how much time it takes to get a family visa for my wife and kids?
My salary is 21000 QR per month. How much will be the expenditure in terms of a 2 bedroom flat and basic average living.
Would request answers to my queries.

You should have thrown this question before accepting the offer. Approximate breakdown of monthly expenses;

2 bedroom apartment QR 7000

Grocery QR 2500

Schooling for one child QR 1500

Car Installment and fuel QR 2000 (Saloon car only)

Dinner once a week QR 500

Internet, TV and telephone (landline) QR 250

It usually takes a month to arrange family visa after you visa is stamped.
