Hi, Currently I am on a visit and looking for opportunities in the capacity of a Social Worker or Project Coordinator/Manager. I am a registered Social-Worker with the General Social Care Council of UK and hold international experience in working with Organisations towards social and economic development.I hold Post-graduate degree with specialization in community development and development management from a prestigious University in the UK and have a vast research background in both academic and practical settings. My previous work experiences included responsibilities in the area of project management and administration with NGOs and GOs and teaching social work at college level.
I look forward to hearing from agencies and organisations working towards development in Qatar. Thanks.

the red crescent has an office here. they have an office that deals with local development and a separate one for the international work. from what i have heard you should avoid the local one.

there is also Reach Out to Asia (part of Qatar Foundation), but they don't have a great reputation as far as employers go. depending on what you are looking for you might find it frustrating. they are great at fund raising but from what i have heard they then send the money to local charities who do the ground work.

also part of Qatar Foundation is SDC (Social Development Center). I believe that this center deals with local development.
