Hey guyz i would appreciate your help.
I am a lebanese fresh engineering graduate and i got the following offer from a multinational company at Doha:
2500$ + 500$ (car allowance) + accomodation + insurance...
Is it a good offer?

Actually I know nothing about living at Doha, how is the taxi service, is it good ? is it better if i buy my own car, what about food ?

I would really appreciate your help specially since i have another offer in Lebanon: 1200$ + mobile + transportations and i am really confused.

Thank you in advance for your help.

ok the total saalry you'll get is 3000 USD = QR 10921

if the company pays for accomodation, and you're single this would be ok. But if you need to pay for accomodation that would cost you soemthing like QR4000-5000 for a studio or the same or a bit less for a room in a flat in a decent location. In this case I wouldn't advise you to come because you wont be able to save money. And taxis here are a big problem, for sure you'd want to buy a car.

I hope that helped a bit

Beirut is described as such a nice place. Why would you want to move to Qatar for such a bad salary?

this salary is nothin in qatar.

don't even dream of a change from your employer to accept another fair deal..

can not come back to qatar immediately in two years if u cancel ur contract.

wait for some time or get ur own visa and find the best deal.

Qatar is a very expencive country. 2500 Dollers = approx. 7500QR these are enough for food and taxies/month.

Of course 1200 dollers in Lebanon is better then coming here for saving nothing.

It's Low Salary for Qatar.Everything here is expensive. Only fuel is cheap.

For a Engineer,this salary it's a shame.

Don't come for this salary!
