Oh, sure, always. But they don't move much for bottom wages. You should ask for your current salary in the UK plus 25% plus housing, transportation, etc.

Schools that offer low salaries generally have other unpleasant surprises in store for prospective teachers. Try to find a current or former teacher at that school to get a review. Perhaps daveseslcafe.com.

As a single you need at least 3000 qatari riyals to survived here considering you have a free accomodation. But how about your transportation? It's not cheap here. Granted that you have a free transport. Is it okay for you to save 5000+ riyals?

compare it with your current salary (also net).

I think that is the on-going rate for a teacher like you here. Anyway, let's wait for the other advise.

it is slightly more than i currently earn. I feel like there should be more of a financial incentive to move to Qatar though. I was just wondering if it was a good teaching salary? I'm thinking that it isn't though..

you need to convert to pounds and determine if that is more than what you make now..

if you really don't have any expenses and are just looking for the experience, than maybe its ok..

just depends on your personal needs..

we can't answer that question..only offer some advice on limited information..

Hi Mandi,

What would you expect a certified teacher with one year experience to get?

For someone to say if it is enough you'll also have to post at least the following ....

-What is your eating habits? How many times a week would you like to eat out and where?

-How often do you like to shop and what?

-Do you drink and which brand is your favorite?

-What gadgets would you like to own?

-How often you'll be calling home and what will be your means and duration of the call?

-Where is your boyfriend? Would you be calling him in on a visit visa?

-Would you like to join a slimming center?

-Would you be looking for a dance instructor?

-A Music teacher?

-What is your reading habits? How much do you spend on books per month?

-What is your monthly budget for cosmetics and toiletries? Which lifestyle product is your favorite?

-How do you look at charity? Will you be taking active part in charity?

-What are your hobbies?

-How is your general health? How often do you need medical attention?

-Any other habits or pass time that consumes money?
