yes buddy, you can still save.

let me you remind you the old adage, 'where there's a will there's a way.'

To start with, you have a net amount of QAR 3000/-, after company deductions.

You can still save 1000 - 1500 qar easily, if you are here to make money, this is possible.

I'm sorry!!I meant to say U could save between 2250 to 2500.Food won't cost u more than 500 since u are by your self.Unless you're a lavish spender.forget bout the thought of bringing your family here for the moment.Your first priority should be providing for them.It is obvious that you wouldn't come here if you had decent opportunities back home.So make the most of it.Cheers!!

with this salary range i guess u can save maximum QR. 2,000/- only if u limit to your food & telephone expenses in desired manner. Also u can't sponcer ur family with this salary range if at all u decided to bring ur family over here. If u don't have any other job option open for u then u can continue with the same job till u get another opening from any where else but don't leave existing job without having anything in ur hand. Best of luck.

It'll all depend on your target!!!3800 is not a bad salary for a starter.since 800 is deducted from your salary for accommodation and transport that leaves u with 3000.From that(depending on your lifestyle)if you put aside 500-750 for food and general expenses that gives you a monthly saving of 2500-2750.Since u have added responsibility on your shoulders i think u should consider staying back and working. After all you're here now.If you perform well there's always the possibility of an increase within a year.So think hard before you make a decision.good luck to you and your family.Cheers.

As you said, its been a month in Doha...you should have some sort of an idea about the living expenses and savings by now.

Only you would be the best to judge, how much you can save within this salary.
