Is it possible to DJ in Doha as A radio DJ?
There are many DJs (Disc Jockey) out there to the point that it actually lost meaning.
What is a DJ?
It's an Art form..It's an expression of the hand and mind and the outcome is beautiful music...Mixing and scratching.. Who does that now a days...not too many but unfortunately they still call themselves DJs...
I don't recall in Doha they have what they call a "radio DJ"?
It's where you will have a live DJ spinning from like 12pm to 2pm (LIVE)...
Is this available??
How about, is there a huge demand in the English schools and colleges on parties and stuff like that??
Just curious...
Thanks to everyone in advance..
I FORGOT TO ANSWER THE SECOND PART OF THE QUESTION, GENRES...
I specilaize in HopHop, R&B, & House and I also do Regga, Reggatone...
I do clubs all the time...but Radio has a different atmosphere...
If radio has no chance..where do you advise me to DJ at?
if you can be specific, location wise..
thanks again...
I really appreciate your answer a lot.
But as far as equipment goes..I got;
2-1200 SL Technics
DJM909 Pioneer mixer..
I love vinyl...but the most frustrating thing about that is when you do an event you have to carry a bunch of crates...but thank God for "Serato"
So I ripped most of my vinyl as mp3s so there you have it...
so as a sum,
2-1200 SL Technics
DJM909 Pioneer mixer
Serato (Scratch Live)
MacBook Pro
Thanks again,
Hi moe
Doha has Only 1 radio station called QBS
if u r really interested u can try visiting their office
nobody will hire u from QL.
I personally think that hiphop rnb n trance house r the genres in demand over here.. So if u can mix and scratch u r in demand 2. y not try in clubs? Y radio?
The bars r closed for Ramadan for ur kind info.
What equipments do u use and what genres r u specialized in?
