thanks, the replacement, but you're now in Qatar or you're still there in Singapore. Our reason is the same. I will be 5 years march next year and my husband will be on his 4th year next year. That's why we decided to move.

Is there any employment agency where we can apply for?

Sis,

I go with Singapore because of the followimg reason/s

1. Very Safe

2. Friendly and law-abiding citizen

3. A garden city

4. Very Clean (spotless)

5. The Great Singapore Sale

6. Public transportation is highly organized

7. Hawker food centre are everywhere

8. A wide selection of cuisine

9. "Red Light" district is legallized

10. Extensive "Night Life"

11. You can buy liqour from the supermarket.

12. Highly aware of good health life style

13. Pork is readily available everywhere

14. Foreign embassies highly recognized employee card holders

The only drawback is that they imposed income tax, road tax etc. to all expats/local and nothing is "free". I have the opportunity to stay there for atleast seven (7) years and never regret it.

Cheers,

My sincere apology "bahay ni Kuya"...I thought your still single. The good thing in Malaysia and Singapore is....you can stay up to maximum of 3 months to find good job and airfare is not that expensive (maximum of 20,000.00 pesos back and forth). I've been to Dubai last year and most of Pinoy's who were retrenched in Dubai went to Singapore to find job ( I’m in construction industry, so I can only speak for this industry, for other industries, I don’t have any idea) they did not find any job there and decided to return home. Recently, I visited Malaysia (last March 2009), the progress is there but all my friends who lives there told me that they are also suffering from "worldwide crisis" and there are still on-going retrenchments from big companies. I think, you can get also get the same salary here less 20%-30% tax, By the way, I have known some Malaysian and Singaporeans who are working here in Qatar.

My husband and I will go there together. What salary range you can advice us to have, appropriate for couple? In Malaysia and in Singapore, because i know that it's much expensive to live in Singapore other than in Malaysia.

I work in Malaysia and Singapore before. The place is amazing....anything you can do there, you will enjoy life more than here but these places were expensive to live with compare here in Qatar (except house rents)...Good for you....you might missed your boyfriendseses here...lol.....you will also missed all arabs and pakis but not indians........Good Luck!
