I'm newly active in QL, I just want to ask what is the use of earning points in QL? Is their any reward or price I get in return if I gain more points.
hai, it shows how much time you are in office doing nothing of your office work.
nothing much, and the way they're given is worse!
a point is given whenever u hit "submit" no matter if it's a double post, a non-sense or vital information!
so just hit submit to have more points.

Use the Search box on the top right,, this topic was discussed about zillion times before.

No benefits, but just to indicate how active you are on QL, plus some groups joining requirements.

certain points can make you a member of a group.lets say 50 pts can help you get in FILEX,and if you amass 10,000 points you become a moderator,,,lol
Each post/comment that you make is equivalent to 1 point. The more you participate, the more points you get.
There's no merits/benefits for those points except when you like to join a certain QL group wherein they require minimum points and how long you've been on QL.
Don't mind the points...IGNORE ;-)
