My boss issued a memo reg. ramadan timings and i really felt so bad coz i feel like i will be working in a supermarket or department store because its from 8:30 am to 12:30 afternoon and 8:30 to 11:30 in the evening. That would be 7 hours, and to think that i'm working in a cont. & trading co. not in a supermarket. Is it fair? As far as i know i only have to work 6 hours during ramadan....Give me your opinion and answer please...Thanks.

Very similar hours to what I worked in Dubai the last two Ramadan's, I actually quite enjoyed it as I'd go out in the afternoon & practice on my racing go-kart, once Ramadan finished I barely found the time to practice...!!

Had I been on QL then there definitely would have been no time to do anything lol...8-)

Torque 8-)

You can work 6 hours at standard rate, then up to an additional 4 hours at overtime rate.

So you can work a maximum of 10 hours a day, but anything over 6 hours must be paid at overtime rate.
