I NEED YOUR HELP AND GUIDENCE PLEASE?
actually i m facing a problem that i was living with another family as sharing. i was paying my rent every first of month. this month i paid the rent and leave that house without informing to the second person. now he is asking to pay one month rent as no body can be live there this month. i can not pay him again, he is an arabic speaking person now he is saying that pay one month rent or i will go to police. however there is no written agrement between us and he is not the owner of house. is there any kind of problem for me because i m new in qatar also my wife and kids are worry about this, as that person is calling again and again and saying i will see you.....etc.
can i inform to police that this person is causing problems for me? or any other option is there to solve out this matter?

First of all, you brought this to yourself. You should have told the person you shared the room with that you were leaving, even if you didn't have any formalities binding you. But the good news is, he has no legal hold on you and if he keeps the harassment...you may report him to the police citing threat and intimidation which has caused you and your family mental anguish. Please don't do that again to anyone esp. a landlord or an employer, don't just take off ...
Brother! Dont worry ! Just go to captial police and file a complaint against him. abt his threating, He cant do anything since he does not have any rental agreement with you. even if he goes to police then you can tell the fact and they will ask you to vacate the house within a month. so u can find a good house in Doha. nothing to worry abt anything.
this is your mistake why u dont inform him secondly dont worry he dont have agreement and no prove if he wanted to go police so he will make problem for him self dont worry close your mobail but this is your mistake not his if u have money please give him or u dont have money please take loan because he have right to take money .......................................
