How and what forms to use to file taxes?

Hi everyone. I have a question and I do hope that anyone can assist me. I am a Untied States Citizen working here in Qatar and would like to file my taxes. However, I do understand that we expats are exempt but require to file anyways. Can anyone tell me how and what forms which i need to file.

I will greatly appreciate any help.

NO, as a US citizen you are NOT exempt from state, local and federal taxes! You must file using the usual forms. You may be eligible for an exemption from a certain part of your federal taxes if you meet certain criteria, but this will not apply to your first partial year abroad. Please contact a tax preparer in the US. They can do it electronically or file an extension for you.
