Guys wake up. Read his question. He is asking about pocket money for only 4 days. This means the hotel is already paid for.

you need 4000 euro only if you're planning to buy a car or something...the food is cheap in italy, and the transportation also.one bus ticket valid for 75 minutes plus one subway trip is 1 (one) euro only.

is it for only one person or for...????

and it depends on your style of living and fashion.

Italy is one of the most expensive European Counries. If you book a package which includes hotel and breakfast/dinner for example then you need the rest only for your fun and souvenirs. But even for that:Take enough with you!!!!!

If you go to Rome. Any hostel close to the Termini Terminal. will be around 14 to 20 euros per night.

Train from Airport to Termini Terminal 12 euros.

Must of the tourist places are free... Vatican Museum and some other places charges u about 6 euro.

Panini 1 to 2 euros = Bread with NICE NICE Ham inside

Birra Moretti or Boffa D Oro 2 to 3 euro. you can drink while walking the town.

Metro and Buses about 1 euro, but you can purchase the ticket and keep it in your pocket as the romans never validate, "convalit" the tickets... When in Rome...

If you are going out drinks will be aroun 7 euros, beers 5 euros, and house wine 2 I will go for the house wine.

If you are planning to see the pope he only rock the vatican on Wednesday and Sundays.

The Sixteenth Chapel has funny schedules, check that one first as the other things are open always...

Have fun and enjoy your trip. Italy is full of fun.

It depends where do you want to stay & go.

Look the www.myair.com webside for flight but not from here.

My proposal for 4 days

1-ROME -FLORENCE-PISA

2-MILANO -VENEZIA-PORTO FINO

You should choose one of them because they are in different ways.

For first option stay in rome and florence. The hotel prices start from 100 euros near Termine there are many hotels but the season started so you should make a reservation. And for city transportation use the Metro it is best and chepast way.

And for second stay in Milano and Venezia ;here hotels a bit expensive start from 150 euros.

except flights&sovenirs approx. you will need 3000 euros .
