how long do i need to wait for visa+ticket
This is M. Amin from Pakistan. Last year 6 Sep, 2009 I went for a Personal Interview to Qatar. It was my 3 days trip for Medical, computer test and interview with Dr. Najam, I submitted my Whole documents (From A to Z), Company they offer me a job for Business Support Coordinator. After my interview the HR Supervisor Mr. Shelton said that we will invite you soon, just keep in touch. My question is how many percentage of getting a specific date for joining. Can you please give me an idea what are their procedures? And how long do I need to wait for visa+ticket
There have been cases here in QL in which some people have waited up to 8 months.
However there is something in your statement that I don't understand, and I quote
After my interview the HR Supervisor.... said that we will invite you soon, just keep in touch.
This invitation to which the HR Supervisor is referring to is what kind of invitation: as a tourist? or to join the company? Have you kept in touch? I mean have you sent them emails? have you called them from time to time?
I would suggest you to send them an email or call them trying to find out the status of your application and on the other hand start looking for other posibilities.
For what I have heard the hiring/recruiting process around here is somehow long and slow (there have been several topics on this).
