How to establish a wifi internet connection?
Dear friends,
Im located to a new villa and other neighbours says there using wifi internet connection. I have a pc speed is 2.4ghz , will i be able to get conneted to wireless wifi net? and how to do that ? my knowledge on that is NIl. please help me guys. thanks a lot for your great service.
If u want to use ur existing neighbourhood's WIFI connection, all u gotta do is
if u got laptop : Switch on the wireless, search for wireless connection on windows and get connected.
if u got Desktop PC : buy one a Wireless Network Adapter from Sofitel Complex , Carrefour etc and thats it.
Adapter Price : 95 - 150.
If u want to setup ur own Wireless Connection, U got the answer tallq
First you need a telephone line from Qtel, then you need an internet connection from Qtel, then you need a wireless router from Carrefour (or somewhere similar). Follow the setup instructions that come with it.
This assumes your PC has a wireless card. If not, you'll also need a wireless adapter for it, again from somewhere like Carrefour.
