Hi friends
I am an energetic young arab girl studying at UOQ.
I want to know how the foreigners here think about the arab women about
their behaviour, character and all good and bad experiences you have with us.
So that we could well adapt to the feelings of the foreigners here.
Your opinions are highly welcome. You could even send private messages if you wish.
Thanks have a nice time in QATAR.

I have not had much interaction except for one Qatari girl who came to our office and was about to join our company. She introduced herself and then put her hand out to shake and I was so taken aback I did not put my ahnd out as I was scared that a Qatari girl and human touch. Then her hand was still strtched and so I shook it. Later since I was appointed as a mentor I had a chance to interact and she was sweet and spoke very eloquently. All my misconceptions flew out of the window.

One thing I have to say they are very graceful

Hi, Initially when I saw this question. I was not sure to answer. But after a couple hours this was still sitting on the back of my mind. I figured you asked this question and expect an honest response. So here it is.

I'm not sure if others feel the same as me. Also as Im quite shy and not very outgoing, so I really dont approach women, even if I feel that she is interested.

From my perspective, arab women, in general, seem emotionally closed off. When I walk around city centre or other places a large percentage do not even make eye contact.

Plus I guess there is the stigma or fear of tradition or how it looks to other if we would even talk or have a basic conversation. Plus of what you hear that a Qatari or other Arab women cant date or marry outsiders. So then I learned that’s its best to not even think about it.

When I first moved here I thought of how neat it would be to meet an special arab girl. But now its an idea I have completely given up on.

Hello, rania, Habibi! ;) Well, with the way you have delivered your question, I can just describe you and similar Arab women as cool! Its nice to know that in a Middle East country where tradition is well observed, you are also open to the culture of the Westerners. I remember one time while walking along the main road of Al Sadd going to Ramada Junction, a car with 3 young Arab ladies wearing black were grooving to the sound of American RNB music, and they even greeted me with my own language. Also at the Ramada area, an SUV full of young Arab ladies also wearing black where posing and taking candid camera shots while driving. I see young Arabs having fun. I hope to meet you and similar open-minded young Arab ladies someday, and maybe just hang out for dinner or coffee. ;)

Hi Rania,

How do I feel about Qatari women? Few words to describe that except elegant, charming, beautiful, mysterious, intelligent, humourous and simply the nicest of the female species that I have ever met. You Ladies should go to UK and train the women there to be the same..........
