how can we get our Paid leave & indemnity?
Hi everyone,
I would like to share our serious problem with you. my husband is working in a private company (which is supposed to be big) , but unfortunately this company doesn't pay any of its employees leave pay, idmenity or RP & visa renewal cost.
The only thing they pay is 2 way air ticket every two years.
My question is , what can we do? where can we raise our comaplaint without being harmed or getting fired?
My husband is working in this company for 6 years , and till today he didn't get even 1 single paid leave day, even when we got married, he took 1 week leave which again was deducted from his salary, is it fair that he has to work 365 days a year or else we can't pay the bills while having some time off?????????

What you are doing is correct, go and fight regarding this issue, what a foolish company it is, all the best.
the reason why I'm doing all this now is because i'm really fedup and can't take it anymore, we can't even go on vacation or do anything , that's why things have to change i guess.

the thing is that, once before all the staff signed an objection letter and submitted it to the manager in a very peacful way, they didn't want to go to labour dept. immediately, but what happened is that the manager (who is the owner as well) issued a warning letter for all of them, so they got scared and pulled back .
I just called labor dept. hotline, the lady told me that i have to give a name and id no., i said i can't.
so she gave me a mobile number which belongs to the labour inspection section, i called and he didn't ask for any name or id no., he just took the company's name, location and sponsor's name. he promised to send an inspector there to see how true is our complaint and the necessary action will be taken.

go immediatlly to labour court you will get the 6 years leave salary per year 21 days paid salary
If they have a contract please read carefully and they are mentioning all the provision on that contract. Then knock the door of his Boss and discuss regarding that matter probably his boss will explain everything.

also, he can't change his job, since his sponsor won't give him release ro no objection letter, so sad and selfish :(

(Note: I have raised a complaint on the human rights website, where you send your request with your email address without mentioning your name or anything, lets see how that goes, i didn't get any reply yet though )
