Depends what your parents like to do. In general i would recommend souq wagif, the pearl island has some cafes, the islamic museum. You can take them on dhow ride on the corniche. You can sign them up for a trip on the dunes with some professionals. You could also take them for friday brunch at the ritz carlton from 12-3 but you need to book that a week in advance.
