Hi, I currently hold a valid US driving licene, i just finally got my Qatari ID card, what do i need to do to get a driver licene when i go to the Traffic dept.? your help is much appreicated.

As per the new rule, you will have to take road test to get Qatar Licence. Hence, the following documents required for direct test;
1. QID Copy
2. your Home country D/L (original + copy)
3. Letter from your sponsored company with authorized signature.
4. Passport size photo with blue background (2 nos).
5. Aplication form for Eye test.
1st go for eye test with all those documents in any of the traffic police (prefer Madinath Khalifa near Immigration Dept.) they will guide you the rest of the work. best of luck.
