Gals group and social outings?

hi everyone.
anyone here organizes get-to-know gatherings for gals - for day trips, shopping, whatever... i can't seem to find a specific one in the qatar groups section.
can someone nudge me in the right direction?

Thank you! Yes, I have a friend who works 9-5 and she has a hard time making the day-time meetings. There are a few activities in the evenings posted on AWA's website and Expatwomanqatar has a monthly "Gals Night Out." Keep reading the websites and if anything comes up, I'll PM you.

mandi, i just have to say - you are perhaps the most helpful and warmest member on ql!!!!!!! checked the sites you mentioned, all great, just that the activities are not very convenient if one works 9am-5pm, 5 days a week, no? :(
