Ok me I have been offered the accomodation for the first couple of months (Not allowance but accomodation) then I will need to find sthg myself. I have been in West Bay and it is a nice area but as you said: You need to make sure that they deliver what they promise.
Try emailing them to ask about the minimum contract period; that way you can cancel or renew..... just thoughts..
my husband is going to work and his company will cover the accomodation (Spanish) so their partners from Doha were kind to provide the accomodation and we been told that Ezdan is the best choice (West bay, near to the Mall, free shutles to the Sea and Mall)...but, of course i am agraid if it is a true:)
We are going (my husband, daughter and me) to Doha on 23rd of April, so we have been advised that ezdan is the best place for accomodation () and I don't know how to find new information about it...

We are in the similar situation. I can tell you what I found out. The good area is West Bay. You can find one bedroom suite in Ezdan Hotel&Suite, wifi, swimming pool etc. for about 10.000Q. If you find something new, pls let me know.

Hi! My husband and I are moving out from perth (aust) to Doha.
We are looking for 2 or even 3 bedroom apartments. WOuld you be able to give me an idea of cost of rental? ANd also what areas are good to live at?
SOrry...but one more questions...services like cable tv, internet...are they easly available? Or the cost is too hight?

And when they say furnished does this include everything even the AC, etc.?
Around 7k - 7.5k, though 1 bedrooms are difficult to find. Easier to find 2 bedrooms, for 8.5k.
