Excel Spreadsheet for food prices
In 2006 Moonbeam produced a spreadsheet with the current food / grocery prices!
My wife has updated the sheet applying a annual 10% inflation rise each year for 2007 / 2008 (if anyone knows the actual inflation rates - she will update the sheet again). Please see attached hope this is useful!
It is better to prepare for your budget every month.

Is this list in QR? No notation made and I'd like to do a conversion to $US in the spreadsheet.
BTW, thanks for putting this together. At least it's a good ballpark estimate.
It's not going to be exactly usefull because you just applied 10%
The inflation of 10% does not affect all groceries...

Just printed out your spreadsheet and made my way to my favourite super market here in Kuala Lumpur. And guess what- to my huge relief I find prices are comparable - in fact in some places Doha is actually much cheaper.
Here in Kl, dairy products have gone through the roof - i find items like mozarella chees and cheddar are actually cheaper in Doha.
So, would like to say a big thank you for taking the trouble to post this.
never ever know any prices, specially for the grocery... ask me whatever price you want, my answer will be: have no idea…
