I have two children. One of them is 6 yeas old and other one is 12.

How much their education costs 1. In a goverment school, 2. Private school.

Fees depend on which curriculum you would like your children to follow. European and North American curriculum schools tend to be the most expensive (upto QR63,000/year). At the lower end of the pricing scale you will find Palestinian and Pakistani curriculum schools charging as little as QR3,500 per year.

if u r an arab or want them to learn arabic then ur kids go to school for free technically but u still have to pay for buses and books a small amount

if u r interested in independent (QR5000+)or private school(QR8000+), it can go up, quite expensive as well

i have heard u need to register a year or 2 ahead to get into a decent school..

There is a long list of schools under the heading Schools here on Qatar Living. Local schools are mostly Arabic, but then there are a lot of Independant schools (local) that teach the main subjects in English and these schools are a lot more reasonable tan the International schools.
