I think you felt yesterday's earthquake originated in southern Iran. It was a 5.1 quake with no consequences as far as I know.

The time matches perfectly, so I think it's reasonable to assume that this is what you felt.

So I was not alone in feeling that little and sudden shaking. I didnt notice the time anymore but it could be around 10pm last night. i felt a short shaking but i tried to look at the other things in the house and non was moving so I just thought it was just a movement from the little one inside my tummy.

My flat is located in the 11th floor in one building in Musheireb.

If there was a Quake, I'm pretty sure we would have got some confirmed news.

One things about Qatar is that all the buildings are flimsy...I think I recall long time back about 20 years ago, a big engine plane landed in Doha (was it the Concorde?) and the nearby buildings were shaking...

Most likely some construction work must have resulted in the shake...but then again...I dunno, I'm only assuming!

West Bay Area, 24th floor.

It moved like the wind was shaking a plam tree on the beach.

First I thought it was a sensation (dizzines) but now that you mention it, I get the reason why the shake.

Regards!!
